Hot Weather has Arrived

Hot weather has arrived and the bass will be headed deep. With temps soaring into the 90's and even touching the century mark the bass will be headed to the deeper  water and the steep drop offs. Don't overlook the heavy mil foil  and weeds. Alot of bass will hang under the matted weeds. One of the best ways to get them out is by dropping a worm or tube through the mats . Use a extra heavy worm weight , a heavy action casting rod or flipping stick. The line should be the braided line. No stretch an the smaller diameter will allow the line to cut through the weeds easier. Baitcasting reels are better for this application they have more hook setting power than the spinning reel
