Mississippi River Pool 13 Fishing

The bass on pool 13 between Bellevue Ia and Fulton IL are moving shallow now.They are feeding up before winter weather sets in. Spring Lake Refuge is really hot at this time of year.The only problem is the refuge closes at the end of September. The back water area known as michelson's landing is hot at this time of year not only for bass,but some of the largest panfish you will catch anywhere. Bass will be hitting just about anything you want to throw especially spinnerbaits,buzzbaits,and rankbaits.
