The fish are feeding up to get through the winter season. Crankbaits can be some of the best lures in the fall for fishing around dead vegetation and rock bars.
    Crankbaits like Rapala Shad Raps or Norman Deep Baby N's are killer lures in the fall. Pay attention to the color of the baitfish in the area you are fishing. If the  primary  baitfish are shad a white or shad color will be the best choice. If bluegills are the primary baitfish try firetiger or bluegill colored baits.
